Preeti Davidson, Founder
Preeti has twenty-five years of experience working with young people from the country's most elite schools and universities. She oversaw fundraising programs at Columbia University and became the youngest Director of Development and Alumni Relations at the storied New School in New York City at 23. By 40, she had joined the C-suite.

However, no amount of achievement made her feel genuinely confident and secure. There was a side of her life no one knew about—not her family, colleagues, mentors, friends, or even her partners. Preeti struggled with addiction and an eating disorder to numb herself and for external validation. These behaviors served as rewards for her achievements and punishments driven by shame and self-loathing despite being respected and loved.

Finally in December 2020, she had a moment of clarity that would change the course of her life - she checked herself in to rehab for alcohol and benzos in California. Finally, able to admit she needed help and wasn not su[perwoman, the silent crisis she had endured for twenty-six years was over.
"Preeti uses her experience to help young people build self-worth and confidence"
Now in long-term recovery, Preeti uses her experience to coach young people to build unshakable foundations of self-worth and confidence. She guides them to navigate life's challenges with practical tools while avoiding the maladaptive coping skills all humans endure.

She also hosts The Unloveables, a video podcast about her recovery journey, named after the sense of unbelonging that fueled both her overachievement and self-doubt. Preeti writes about addiction, recovery, self-esteem, immigration, childhood trauma, and being a woman of color in substance use recovery.

She lives in Norwalk, CT, with her two dogs, Max and Major,
who have never worked a day in their lives but are proud of their
sober mom and the greatest champion of her clients.
