Preeti Davidson, Founder
Preeti Davidson has over 25 years of experience working with students from the country’s most prestigious schools and universities. By twenty-three, she became the youngest Director of Development and Alumni Relations at a New York university. By thirty-five, she led fundraising for the nation’s oldest and largest public interest law firm. And by forty, she had joined the C-suite.
But beneath the success, Preeti was silently struggling. Like many high-achieving young people, she learned to perform to perfection on the outside while feeling unworthy on the inside. Her coping mechanisms—addiction, disordered eating, and relentless overachievement—were driven by a need for external validation and a desire to numb the shame she carried in secret.
In 2020, everything changed. Preeti entered long-term recovery and began rebuilding her life from a foundation of internal self-worth. That journey revealed a hard truth: ambition, achievement, and success mean nothing without self-leadership, confidence, independence, and purpose.
Today, that’s the foundation of everything we teach at MAYA.
As the founder of MAYA Self-Worth for Life and host of The Unloveables podcast, Preeti now coaches high-performing youth to build emotional resilience, direction, and confidence—from the inside out—before life forces them to break down and rebuild. She helps them rewrite the story early.
She lives in Norwalk, CT, with her two dogs, Max and Major, who have never worked a day in their lives—but are proud of their resilient mom and her unwavering commitment to the next generation.
"Preeti uses her experience to help young people build self-worth and confidence"
